The newly-formed Michigan Peace Council presented its first (virtual) public event with a group reading of Martin Luther King, Jr’s powerful speech, “Beyond Vietnam” on Mon. Jan 17th, MLK Day.
Twenty readers from the local activist community helped read the speech that was first presented on April 4th, 1967, and considered by mny to be one of his most powerful anti-war speeches.
